This two day workshop, which highlights the differences in both Edition 5 and Edition 6.1 will ensure that those working with the JBCC Contract, whether the Principal Agent or any other party will walk away with a sound understanding of the JBCC Suite of Contracts.
Day one will be spent focusing on the structure of the contract, time and change management and payment. The parties and their duties, subcontracting, completion, the programme and defects liability will be discussed. Special provision is made for delays, adjustment to the contract value and payment procedures.
The second day will start with suspension, termination and dispute resolution. The importance of giving notice and record keeping is discussed and well as the various dispute resolution procedures under the JBCC contract.
The final session will highlight the Nominated/Selected Subcontract Agreement.
