This project management course has been designed to apply internationally recognised best practice principals and methodologies and is broadly structured around the 10 Knowledge areas and 5 Process groups as identified and set out by the PMBOK (Project Management Body Of Knowledge).

Project management involves the process of scoping, planning, organising and managing the resources allocated and available to the project at the time of its implementation. This to complete the various project works and bring the project in on time, within budget and to the desired specification. All of which is required in order to successfully achieve the specific goals and outcomes of the specific project.

In addition to this the Project Manager must identify and address various risks, estimate, track and report on time and cost as well as manage the expectations of the various stakeholders.

In addition to addressing the all-encompassing Knowledge areas and Process groups, you will be taken through the major phases of any construction project: including Concept, Pre-feasibility and Feasibility studies, and on to project Execution, Commissioning and finally Close out and Hand over.
