This one day workshop provides delegates with an over-arching overview of the FIDIC Rainbow Suite of Contracts.

The workshop deals with the selection of the appropriate contract at the procurement phase and concentrates, in the time available on issues such as Communications, Delayed Information, Access and Subcontractors.
Design issues are dealt with as well as the “Time Clause”.

Important Clauses relating to Taking Over and Measurement are covered as well as the issues surrounding Termination and Suspension.

The afternoon session is largely devoted to the resolution of disputes and the management of claims – with special emphasis on the issues surrounding “Notices”.

The aim of this workshop is to provide delegates with an introduction into the FIDIC philosophy of its contracts and should be followed up by attending one of the specialised advanced courses offered by Induna Training.

• Cancellations by delegates must be made in writing and received two weeks before the seminar. It is regretted that no refunds will be made or invoices cancelled after this date and full registration fee will be payable. Substitutions may be made at any time.
