Induna Training Services recognised the need for construction contract knowledge in South Africa and was established in response to this increasing skills gap. In an ever-changing, dynamic, and growing built environment industry, we provide exceptional construction contract training interventions. We also provide FIDIC-Accredited training in South Africa and Africa.

Induna Training Services serves the built environment industry as a leading provider of Continual Professional Development training in South Africa. We strive to collaborate closely with our clients, being the solution-driven organisation that we are, to provide training solutions of utmost efficacy.

Induna and Kingsbourne partnered in 2015 to provide their clients with holistic training and advisory solutions. While the Induna head offices are based in Johannesburg, the company has a reach across South Africa, Africa, and the Middle East, through partnerships with FIDIC and various associations across Africa.

The facilitators include registered professional engineers, quantity surveyors, and consulting engineers with specialist knowledge and experience in dispute resolution and claims management. The course offerings focus on construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, GCC, and JBCC), contract administration, and claims management.

Induna has aligned itself to professional associations such as FIDIC, CESA, and ASAQS. All courses include true-life case studies, which enhance the delegates’ learning experience and are tailor-made to company and industry requirements.

Founded in 1913, FIDIC is charged with promoting and implementing the consulting engineering industry’s goals on behalf of its Member Associations. FIDIC also disseminates information and resources of interest to its members, who today span over 100 countries around the world.

In the furtherance of its goals, FIDIC publishes international-standard contract forms for works and for clients, consultants, sub-consultants, joint ventures and representatives – along with related materials such as standard pre-qualification forms.  In addition, FIDIC publishes business practice documents in the areas of management systems (quality management sustainability) and business processes (consultant selection, quality based selection, tendering, procurement, insurance, liability, technology transfer, capability building), such as:

  • Policy statements
  • Position papers
  • Guidelines
  • Training manuals and training resource kits

Induna is an Affiliate Member of FIDIC and a preferred Training Provider for FIDIC in Africa.
