This one day workshop considers the similarities and differences between the three major long form contracts within the FIDIC 199 Rainbow Suite of documents.
It examines the FIDIC Red Book [Construction], Yellow Book [Plant and Design Build] and the Silver Book [EPC].
The course highlights the issues of design liability, as well as the inherent risks and associated costs for each document. The difference between the Engineer and the Employers Representative is examined and the issue of determinations is discussed in detail.
Other issues such as the risk apportionment for unforeseen physical conditions and difficulties are highlighted and the delegates will be exposed to true life illustrative examples. The issue of changes in the Employer Requirements is also considered and their influence on the final Contract Price is highlighted.
