The Management and Administration of FIDIC Contracts webinar provides a comprehensive overview of contract management and administration under the 2017 FIDIC Conditions of Contract. It begins with an introduction to FIDIC contract forms, the Golden Principles, and general provisions, followed by discussions on contract award procedures, the Engineer's role and authority, and performance security. The sessions cover project start-up, including commencement, programme requirements, insurances, drawings, and kick-off meetings, as well as post-commencement administration, such as site access, mobilisation, records, progress reporting, compliance with local laws, and contractor documentation. The webinar also focuses on financial procedures like measurement, variation orders, value engineering, and payment certificates, alongside claims, suspension, and termination processes, detailing the roles of contractors, employers, and the Engineer in addressing disputes. It examines dispute resolution through the DAAB, amicable settlement, and arbitration, and concludes with procedures for taking over works, managing defects during the Defects Notification Period, issuing the Performance Certificate, and addressing final completion matters.

Participants gain a clear understanding of FIDIC’s Golden Principles and their practical application in managing contracts. • Cancellations by delegates must be made in writing and received two weeks before the seminar. It is regretted that no refunds will be made or invoices cancelled after this date and full registration fee will be payable. Substitutions may be made at any time.
• We reserve the right to cancel the event if it is under subscribed or for any other reason. In the event of cancellation we will endeavour to give delegates two weeks’ notice and the fee will be refunded in full. We cannot be held liable for any pre booked travel or accommodation costs.
